Ms. Marie Egeland joined VIE as a life coach/consultant two years ago. Marie brings with her over 26 years of experience in teaching, training and counseling. Marie is a licensed clinician who helps individuals, both in the private and public sector; learn to navigate life with healthier behaviors, and with a better understanding of themselves and the world with which they interact. Marie has many years of experience being a training director and facilitator for a non-profit organization that focuses on teaching people listening and communication skills. Marie’s unique blend of knowledge and experience in human development allows for an in-depth understanding of how people internalize their values and are socialized into both personal and organizational cultures. Marie presently holds a Teaching Degree and a Master in Social Work with an Advanced Certification in Clinical Skills. Marie has also been a member of the Board of Directors, holding the office of President for numerous years, for a local non-profit organization.
